On Friday, May 19, we volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. Habitat for Humanity aims to create affordable housing for folks making less than 80% of the area median income.
1 in 4 families in Wake County are in need of a safe and affordable place to live.
Without cost-effective housing options, often times these folks are forced to forego necessities like groceries, healthcare, and education due to the cost of housing.
