Last quarter Armor volunteered with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina on Friday, March 7, 2025. The Food Bank has been serving 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina since 1980. The Food Bank partners with 700 service agencies, like soup kitchens, who serve over 500,000 people facing food insecurity across the 34 counties. During our volunteer day, we packed 800 food boxes (that’s over 20,000 meals!) that are distributed each month to seniors in the service region.
This quarter we’ll be spending our Volunteer Day with the Green Chair Project. The Green Chair Project was founded in 2010 and supports individuals overcoming homelessness, crisis, or disaster by providing furnishing and housing essentials.
